INSTRUCTION

I provide remote consultations and in person meetings. Find out more about my instructions procedure below.

INSTRUCTION

I accept instructions directly from solicitors on behalf of both pursuers and defenders. I also consider instructions from other organisations including insurance companies, professional regulatory bodies, medical defence groups and trade unions.

I do not accept self-referrals.

I can see clients in person or arrange remote consultations if this is preferable.

I am able to perform assessments at solicitors’ offices and outside regular office hours if required.

Letters of instruction should be sent to yameenqureshi@protonmail.com

As part of the letter of instruction, it is generally helpful to indicate the following:

1. The background to the case.
2. Any specific issues to be addressed.
3. Whether a remote or face-to-face appointment is required.
4. The approximate size of any medical records and other documents. This will enable me to provide an accurate quote.
5. The urgency of any reports.

Timescales
I endeavour to reply to enquiries within 24 hours of receiving an email.

I can usually offer an appointment within four weeks, however, I do consider requests for urgent reports.

I endeavour to return completed reports within three weeks of seeing the client and receiving all medical records.
